Wah pedals are often associated with guitar solos, quickly sweeping through the frequency range, but there are other ways to use a wah pedal to create some great effects.
For instance, as you can hear in this quick video you could use it on a chord riff, very slowly moving through a couple of fixed positions to add a few interesting flavors to your backing groove that is sure to catch the attention of the crowd. The pedal being used here is a Steve Vai signature by Morley – the Bad Horsie 2, but you could use any Morley Wah pedal to create similar effects.
Well, this is just one quick tip. There are many others and we might just share more of them one day so please so stay tuned for more!
